Biography
Gifty Nyuieme Sarbah is a passionate educator, creative artist, and community development advocate with over a decade of experience integrating the arts into transformative learning experiences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Cape Coast (UCC). She has also completed an MA in Brands and Communication Management at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
She is the Junior School Art Teacher at Ghana International School, where she designs joyful, learner-centered classrooms that use creativity and simple resources to deepen understanding. Her practice blends art, psychology, and communication to build confidence, expression, and holistic development in learners.
Guided by creativity, empowerment, innovation, and holistic education, she has led mural projects, trained people in Macramé Craft, and served as one of the facilitators for the Ghana International School Summer Camps (2024–2026). She has also presented at the 8th and 9th TIME Conferences. She continues to inspire learners and educators through student voice, artistic expression, and purposeful teaching.
Experience
Gifty Nyuieme Sarbah has experience as a speaker and trainer in education and creative learning spaces. She has presented at the 8th and 9th TIME Conferences, sharing ideas on creative teaching and student engagement. She also serves as one of the facilitators for the Ghana International School Summer Camps (2024–2026), where she leads practical, hands-on learning activities for children. In addition, she has facilitated Macramé training for women and children as part of community development work. Through these experiences, she delivers interactive and practical sessions that support learners, teachers, and community groups.
