Laureen Adams

With over 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Laureen Adams remains committed to supporting leaders, teachers, and students toward liberatory education. She has worked in diverse settings (public, charter, private, district, and university), taught grades 6-12, and served as a lead teacher, leader and teacher coach, curriculum designer, instructional coach, teacher educator, and administrator. Dr. Adams is the Executive Director of Ghana Leadership and Learning Alliance, an author, and an international education consultant specializing in teacher education, equity, learner-centered communities, leadership, project based learning, and love-centered liberatory education. Dr. Adams holds a PhD in Education with an emphasis in Teaching, Learning, and Culture and an Africana Studies certificate from Claremont Graduate University, where she currently serves as Research Fellow.
