Biography
Efua Asiedu is the Head of School Business Development, West Africa at Cambridge
University Press & Assessment, a position she has held since October 2015. In this role,
she leads strategic engagement with schools, educational institutions, government
agencies, and regulatory bodies across the region, fostering partnerships that support
educational excellence and learner success.
Efua oversees business intelligence, business development, marketing, and customer
support functions, driving growth and strengthening Cambridge's presence across West
Africa. She brings extensive experience in educational services, business administration,
examinations management, and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining Cambridge, Efua worked with the British Council, where she gained
significant expertise in the administration and management of international
qualifications, including Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the International
English Language Testing System (IELTS), and a range of UK academic and professional
qualifications.
Efua holds a degree in Sociology and Philosophy and is passionate about advancing
access to quality education, building strong educational partnerships, and supporting
institutions in delivering world-class learning outcomes
