Professional Biography: Perry Tuapany
Perry Tuapany is a highly versatile music educator, researcher, and accomplished multi-instrumentalist with a distinguished career spanning various tiers of the educational and choral landscape. He holds a General Music Diploma and a Bachelor of Music Education, academic foundations that fuel his practical, performance-driven approach to music pedagogy and ensemble direction.

 

Tuapany’s pedagogical experience is exceptionally broad, spanning early childhood, secondary, and tertiary education across prestigious public and international institutions. He began his instructional career in higher education as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), where he guided undergraduate musicians in theory and practice. His versatile classroom expertise is further reflected in his work at prominent schools, including Oda Senior High School, Jack and Jill Basic School, Edella Community School, and premier international institutions such as Galaxy International School and the renowned Ghana International School (GIS).

 

As a multi-instrumentalist, Tuapany possesses dual mastery over wind instruments and keyboard pedagogy. An expert wind instrument instructor, he specializes in foundational mechanics, tone production, and ensemble integration. This instrumental dexterity directly informs his work as an elite Church Organist and an accomplished Music Director in church music settings. His extensive experience in sacred music and vocal ensemble direction allows him to cultivate exceptional acoustic blend, precise synchronization, and artistic expression within both choral groups and instrumental ensembles.
