Enitan Seun-Okutubo

Enitan Seun-Okotubo is a dedicated early childhood educator and leader with extensive experience across early years and primary education settings. Currently, she works with BrightPath Learning Centre and DASH Educational Centre in Cambridge, Ontario, where she supports children’s learning and development through intentional, play-based, and child-centred pedagogy.

As an Early Childhood Educator (ECE), her practice is grounded in Ontario’s How Does Learning Happen? framework, the Reggio Emilia approach, and the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) — principles that guide her in creating inclusive, responsive environments where every child feels a sense of belonging, well-being, engagement, and expression.

Her career spans curriculum design, observation and documentation, assessment, and centre administration. She has held leadership roles, including a Head of School position at Catherine Anthony International School, which deepened her commitment to high-quality early childhood education and reflective leadership practice.

She is passionate about professional growth, collaborative learning, and elevating the early years sector. She believes that play is the most powerful vehicle for learning, and is committed to advocating for practices that honour the whole child and amplify the voices of educators, families, and communities.

Prior Speaking & Training Experience

I have a solid foundation in facilitation, training, and knowledge-sharing within early childhood and educational settings. My experience includes:

    •    Workshop Facilitation — Designed and delivered professional development workshops for educators, focusing on curriculum implementation, child-centred practice, and reflective teaching strategies.
    •    Staff Training & Professional Development — Led in-house training sessions for early childhood teams, building staff capacity in areas such as observation and documentation, play-based learning, and regulatory compliance under the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).
    •    Presentations at Team Meetings & Parent Nights — Regularly presented to colleagues and families on children’s learning and development, program updates, and strategies for supporting children at home and in the centre environment.
    •    Mentoring & Coaching Colleagues — Provided ongoing mentorship and pedagogical coaching to early childhood educators, supporting their professional growth and reflective practice in day-to-day settings.

Drawing on my leadership experience, including my role as Head of School at Catherine Anthony International School, I have consistently demonstrated the ability to engage diverse audiences, communicate complex ideas with clarity, and foster meaningful professional dialogue.
